Terms and Conditions for renters
Version: October 2026
1. Provider and scope
These terms apply to contracts for the time-limited provision of SHA-256 computing power by Varga-Tech, owner Attila Varga. The renter's contractual partner is Varga-Tech. Third-party providers supply computing power to Varga-Tech as suppliers.
2. Subject of the service
The only service owed is the forwarding of the booked SHA-256 computing power for the agreed period to a compatible pool specified by the renter. Supported profiles for new bookings are BTC and BCH. No mining return, successful share, coin payout amount or block discovery is owed.
3. Registration
Use of paid functions requires a customer account with a verified email address. Sign-in links are personal and must not be shared. The customer must keep all information truthful and up to date.
4. Formation of the contract
The display of a rig does not constitute a binding offer. After entering the rental period, target pool and billing data and confirming the required information, the customer submits an order subject to payment. The contract is concluded after successful payment confirmation and activation of the rental. For PayPal, successful payment confirmation is decisive; for USDT (Ethereum ERC-20) and VMESH, the required on-chain confirmed payment of the amount shown at checkout is decisive. An order confirmation and invoice are provided electronically.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are final prices. No VAT is shown in accordance with § 19 UStG. Payment is made via PayPal or, when offered at checkout, directly on-chain with USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20) or VMESH. The rig price and the separately calculated VargaHash service fee are displayed before payment and together form the final total. For USDT and VMESH, the checkout conversion rate is locked for the displayed payment window. For USDT, the exact displayed amount must be sent only via Ethereum Mainnet (ERC-20) to the displayed receiving address; network fees are borne by the sender. The small USDT decimal suffix is used to technically match the transfer to the order. For VMESH, the exact displayed amount must be sent to the receiving address generated for that order. Late, partial or conflicting on-chain payments are not auto-fulfilled and are instead held for manual review. No customer crypto account balance is maintained. For a regular rental the current service fee is 3%, minimum €0.29. For MassRent it is currently 4%, minimum €0.49 once per MassRent order. The fee values valid for an order are snapshotted and are not changed retroactively.
6. Start and duration
The rental generally begins immediately after payment is confirmed. The platform-wide minimum rental period is 5 hours; an individual rig may require a longer minimum period. In checkout, the customer expressly requests performance before expiry of the withdrawal period. The rental ends automatically and the rig is then routed back to the provider's fallback pool.
7. Measurement and underperformance
Performance is measured using Stratum shares processed by the router, their difficulty and connection times. Short-term fluctuations are technically normal. If less than 95% of the advertised average hashrate is provided over the total rental period, Varga-Tech may, at its discretion, reasonably extend the rental period or refund the amount attributable to the underperformance. Failures of the target pool, invalid credentials, pool difficulty, network problems at the pool or pool-side bans are outside the responsibility of Varga-Tech.
8. Renter obligations
The renter must use a lawful, publicly reachable SHA-256 Stratum pool and correct access details. Private, local or reserved network targets, port scans, circumvention attempts, attacks and unlawful use are prohibited. The renter is responsible for wallet, worker and pool information.
9. Interruptions and protective measures
Service may be temporarily interrupted in the event of security risks, misuse, maintenance, DDoS attacks, official orders or technical disruptions. If the cause lies within the responsibility of Varga-Tech, the affected downtime will be taken into account.
10. Withdrawal
Consumers generally have the statutory right of withdrawal. Details are set out in the withdrawal information. Upon complete performance of the contract, the right of withdrawal expires if the consumer previously expressly agreed to early performance and confirmed awareness that the right would expire upon complete performance.
11. Complaints and payment disputes
Complaints should be submitted within 48 hours after the rental ends and should include the order number. Unjustified PayPal chargebacks despite proper performance may result in account suspension and recovery of resulting costs. VMESH refunds, where owed, are handled manually on-chain after review. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
12. Liability
Liability is unlimited in cases of intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. In the event of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the typical and foreseeable contractual damage. No liability is accepted for lost mining proceeds, price changes, pool failures or incorrect customer data unless mandatory statutory liability applies.
13. Suspension
Accounts or rentals may be suspended in the event of violations, suspected fraud, chargeback risk, manipulation or threats to the infrastructure. Amounts already paid will be reviewed and, where applicable, refunded after deduction of justified counterclaims.
14. Final provisions
German law applies while mandatory consumer-protection provisions remain unaffected. If the customer is a merchant, Göttingen is the place of jurisdiction. The contract language is German.
